Welcome to LabsICT. By accessing or using this website, courses, and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use this website. By using this site, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

2. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must not share your account credentials with others
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

3. Free Content

LabsICT provides free tutorials, articles, and coding tracks for educational purposes. This content is available to all users without charge.

4. Pro Courses and Payments

Course Enrollment

• Pro courses require payment for enrollment
• Prices are displayed in Nigerian Naira (₦)
• Payment is processed securely through Paystack
• Upon successful payment, you receive lifetime access to the course

Promo Codes

• Promo codes offer percentage or fixed discounts
• Each promo code is valid for one course only
• Promo codes may have expiration dates
• Promo codes cannot be combined or exchanged for cash

Refund Policy

• Refund requests must be made within the specified refund window (default: 10 days from enrollment)
• Refund windows may vary by course
• Refund requests require admin approval
• Approved refunds are processed back to your original payment method via Paystack
• Refunds are deducted from educator earnings

5. Certificates

• Certificates are issued upon course completion
• Certificates are stored on Cloudinary and accessible via your dashboard
• You may download certificates as PDF or image
• Certificates are non-transferable

6. Educator Terms

Becoming an Educator

• Educators must be invited and approved by an admin
• Educators must provide accurate bank details for payouts
• Educators must agree to the Educator Partnership Agreement sent upon approval

Commission and Payouts

• Default commission split: 70% Educator / 30% Platform
• Payment gateway fees (1.5%, capped at ₦2,000) are deducted before commission
• Minimum payout threshold: ₦1,000
• Payouts are processed via bank transfer within 5 business days of approval
• Outstanding earnings are paid within 30 days of account termination

Content Guidelines

• Educators retain ownership of their course content
• Educators grant LabsICT a non-exclusive license to host and distribute content
• Content must be original or properly licensed
• Content must not infringe on third-party intellectual property
• Educators may remove courses at any time (existing enrollments remain valid)

7. Organization Bundles

• Organizations purchase seat-based bundles for staff training
• Bundles may be lifetime or time-limited
• Organization admins can invite staff via email
• Seat top-ups extend the bundle with additional seats at the original price
• Staff accounts created via invitation are automatically enrolled in bundle courses

8. Newsletters and Communications

• We may send newsletters about new courses, features, and updates
• Newsletters are opt-in by default; you can unsubscribe in Settings
• Transactional emails (password resets, enrollment confirmations) are always sent

9. User-Generated Content

• Reviews and comments are public and attributed to your profile
• You retain ownership of your reviews and comments
• You grant LabsICT a license to display your reviews on the platform
• We reserve the right to remove content that violates our guidelines

10. Intellectual Property

All content on LabsICT, including tutorials, text, code examples, and design, is the property of LabsICT unless otherwise stated.

You may use the content for personal learning purposes only. Commercial use or redistribution without permission is strictly prohibited.

11. Prohibited Conduct

• You must not attempt to hack, damage, or disrupt the website
• You must not create multiple accounts to abuse promotions
• You must not share course access with non-enrolled users
• You must not use the platform for any illegal purpose
• You must not harass other users or educators

12. Termination

• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
• Upon termination, existing enrolled students retain access to purchased courses
• Outstanding educator earnings will be paid out within 30 days
• You may voluntarily delete your account in Settings

13. Limitation of Liability

LabsICT shall not be held responsible for any direct or indirect damages resulting from the use of this website or reliance on its content. We are not liable for payment processing errors by third-party services.

14. No Guarantees

While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information, we make no guarantees regarding completeness, reliability, or accuracy. Your use of this website is at your own risk.

15. External Links

This website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any external sites.

16. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated terms on this page. Continued use of the website means you accept the updated terms.
